The New Year carries great meaning and importance for a Good Citizen.
At the end of the year, Good Citizens gather in the central hall of Biodome 17 for the "Death of Time" ritual. Clocks are smashed to utterances of "just five more minutes." So far, the ritual has been a resounding success and Good Citizens are encouraged to spit at any clock they see.
Note: Good Citizens are expected to attend the ritual at precisely 8 p.m.
